Is it worth it to change girlfriend?

i am 16 and i have a girlfriend and we have been dating for 5 years. We known each other for 7.5 years. I love her very much, we spent a lot of times together. And during lunches we spent time together with each others friends. One of those friends since a few months ago, when i saw her i feel like im going to cry, just a feeling. I really enjoy it when i get a hug from her she makes me so happy when i talk to her. I also known her for 8 years. I just had this feeling for her. I still love my current gf i sometimes feel that im so special, but the feeling for my friend is interupting so what should i do? Should try asking her out? Shes also my gfs friend. I do not want to hurt any of them. I need nhelp to overcome this feeling. I asked this b4 but never received a lot of answers.
